FACE OFF: Nitro has to face the infamous Alexander James

Reigning and defending DareDevil champion Nitro will have to face perhaps his biggest opponent yet on the 24th of June. In Hulste he will be defending his title against none other than Alexander James. The name might not ring any bell with most Allstars fans, but it soon will.

The ‘Prince of Pro’ hails from the American Hunt Valley in Maryland. This member of one of the few royal families in the United States learned the tricks of the trade under the supervision of WWE 205-Live-member Drew Gulak. He was one of Gulak’s first students, and a very promising one. Alexander proved this by gathering several championships some of which are the GBW Breaker champion, MCW Rage TV champion and CZW Jr. Heavyweight champion and was the youngest to hold all three of those titles. In his own country James is known from one of the most spoken about organisations: Combat Zone Wrestling. He has faced many very talented opponents in Sami Callihan, Drew Gulak, Rich Swann, Mike Mondo, David Starr, Dave & Jake Crist, Masada, former CZW World Champion Joe Gacy and many others.

Currently Alexander is staying in Europe to continue his job as a full time wrestler and gain fame in a new circuit. With his experience and achievements in Europe the Prince of Pro hopes to expand his renown in the United States of America. He has already managed to take a place within one of Europe’s biggest organisations, Westside Xtreme Wrestling. His next goal is obtaining European gold, and that’s why he has set his sights on the DareDevil Championship.

For the first time in the 8 years that DareDevil championship exists, an American wrestler will be fighting four this coveted gold. For the Hungarian champion this is probably a match made in heaven. Both wrestlers have a similar background if we look at the organisation they started at. Only Alexander James has cultivated more experience throughout the years, so that may be a deciding factor in this match-up. Whatever the outcome the confident challenger has left a very clear message for the fans and the current DareDevil champion:
